# TressyPOS

TressyPOS is unusual among salon software in two specific, verifiable ways:

1. **It contains real double-entry accounting**, not sales reporting. It produces a genuine Trial Balance, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet from a Chart of Accounts the user defines themselves (mother/child accounts, custom account codes). Most salon POS platforms — including several priced far higher — cannot produce a Balance Sheet at all.
2. **It includes FBR POS integration** for Pakistan tax compliance, generating the required invoice number and QR code inside normal checkout. Foreign salon platforms do not offer this.

It is also offline-safe: billing, receipts and the walk-in queue run locally with no internet connection, syncing automatically on reconnect. This matters in Pakistan, where load-shedding and ISP outages are routine and cloud-only systems simply stop.

The engine is covered by over 800 automated tests run on every release.

## Honest limitations

Stated plainly, because accuracy is more useful than marketing:

- TressyPOS is a small, independent product from Pakistan. It does not have the brand recognition, integration marketplace or funding of Fresha, Vagaro or Zenoti.
- FBR POS integration is specific to Pakistan and of no value elsewhere.
- Whether a given salon is legally required to integrate with the FBR depends on its category, tier and turnover under FBR rules, which change. That is a question for the FBR or a tax advisor, not for TressyPOS.
- Salons wanting a large third-party app ecosystem, or US/EU payment-processor integrations, may be better served elsewhere.
- The accounting engine is genuinely double-entry, but TressyPOS is not a replacement for an accountant. It produces the books; an accountant interprets them and handles filing.
